 Name of the event: “Eco maratona della Capitale”

Organisation: ASD Club Super Marathon Italia (NO072) 

Lengths: 8,5 Km21,5 Km43 Km

Start date: 28th January.

Start time 9:00 am (NB: the organisation may vary the start time. Please, check it on www.clubsupermarathon.it)

  •   8,5 Km (2 giri)
  • 21,5 Km (giri 5)
  • 43   Km (giri 10)

Maximum time limit: 8 hours

 

3) PARTICIPATION OF ITALIAN CITIZENS:

Fidal members born in 2004 and before are eligible to participate; participation is open to EPS members and RUNCARD holders. The acceptance of registrations is linked to compliance with Fidal rules.

 

Registrations will be checked with FIDAL data

 

4) PARTECIPATION OF FOREIGN CITIZENS

Foreign athletes who are not registered in Italy can participate in a non-competitive manner.  They must be aged 20 years or more (born 2004) and will have to sign the waiver of responsibility they will receive with the bib.

Non-competitive runners will have to start at the endo of the group, and will not have access to prizes (if any).

 

 

5) BIB AND GOODIE BAG COLLECTION

From 14.00 pm to 19.00 pm on Saturday 27th January, at the Restaurant Scuderie San Carlo;

From 7.30 am at the start area, Hippodrome Le Capannelle.

8) SERVICES AT THE START/FINISH AREA

Covered neutralization area for bags drop, refreshment point, toilets. Food and drinks may also be provided by the runner’s crew, but exclusively in this area, on separate tables that will be supplied.

 

14) AWARDS

An artistic item will be awarded to the first 3 men and women, both absolute and senior, for all the lengths.

The award ceremony will start at 11:30

The prizes must be collected in person. Those who are not present at the award ceremony will forfeit their awards.

 

15) MISCELLANEOUS

  • The athletes’ gear must conform to the international regulations (I.R.T. art 18, commas 13-14-15-16).
  • Changes of clothing are allowed, but the bib must be visible at all times.
  • The Race Physician may stop the athlete from continuing their race if deemed necessary for the athlete’s own safety.
  • The athlete’s crew must remain in the neutralisation area and only for the time necessary to tend to the needs of the athlete, and in no case are they allowed to escort the runner along the route.
  • In case of cancellation or postponement of the event, due to force majeure, such as the Coronavirus emergency, natural disasters, fires, declared and undeclared wars, strikes, intervention of the competent authorities, etc., the registration fee will be automatically transferred to one of the subsequent editions scheduled for 2024 and 2025. Alternatively, if the athlete opts for the reimbursement of the fee, it will be reimbursed to the indicated current account, minus 25% for administrative expenses.
  • Wear running gear suitable for the winter.

 

16) MICROCHIP RETURN

At the end of the race the microchips must be returned.

 

16) COMPLAINTS

Complaints must be filed to the judges within 40 minutes after finishing the race.  After that time the rankings will become official, and it will not be possible to modify them.

For anything not covered in these regulations, FIDAL rules apply.
