La richiesta dalla famosa Università ci è arrivata da Leo Lundy un mio amico e maratoneta irlandese che parteciperà alle prossime 10in10 con Brenda O’Keffe finisher nel 2018. Di seguito la richiesta e traduzione la cui applicazione è stata approvata dall’ultimo direttivo CSMI.

This is to follow up from the message I sent you FB messenger. If you remember me from your times running in Ireland or your 10 in 10 at SVN in Kent in the UK, I have run a lot with you over the last 10 years.
I am currently heading up a study into multi marathoners in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. This is the no 1 university in Ireland and in the top 100 world wide. This study is scoped for people like us who regularly run marathon distance.
I am being supported by the Marathon Club of Ireland, the 100 Marathon club UK and by a large number of race series including SVN (Traviss), who has helped me scope the study. I recently have also got the support of the 100 marathon club in Germany.
I am also being supported by many of you regular runners at the 10 in 10 in Lake Orta like Brenda O’Keefe, Sean Smith, Eugene Winters, Nick Nicholson and Andrew Coveney. A group of us are already planning the trip for 2023. I have permission from the university to distribute the results of the study to your club to do with whatever you want.

Se ti ricordi di me dai tuoi tempi in cui correvi in Irlanda o dal tuo 10 su 10 a SVN nel Kent nel Regno Unito, ho corso molto con te negli ultimi 10 anni. Attualmente sto conducendo uno studio su multi maratoneti al Trinity College di Dublino, in Irlanda. Questa è l’università n. 1 in Irlanda e tra le prime 100 in tutto il mondo. Questo studio è rivolto a persone come noi che corrono regolarmente la distanza della maratona.
