RULES AND REGULATIONS
Orta 10 in 10 – 10 marathons in 10 days from 5th to 14th August 2023 at Lido di Gozzano. Fidal Piemonte approval
1) ORGANIZATION
The Sports Association Orta 10 in 10 ORGANIZES: Orta 10 in 10 (10 marathons in 10 days on the shores of Lake Orta)
Choose from 4 distances:
A short race on the distance of about 10 km
B gran fondo on the distance of about 21 km
C distance of about 42 km
D ultramarathon on the distance of about 50 km

2) PARTICIPATION FOREIGN ATHLETES
Foreign athletes not registered in Italy can participate in a non-competitive manner.
They must be aged 20 years or more (year of birth: 2003 or earlier);
They must sign a WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY before the race if they are NOT members of a running team recognised by World Athletics (and so by their own National Federation).
ATTENTION: By choosing this option (non-competitive) the athlete will have to start at the end of the competitive event in a separate grid, regardless of their “Best Time”. They will also be included in a ranking of arrival distinct from the ranking of the competitive event, their performance will be entered in alphabetical order and they will not be able to benefit from prizes in kind or cash.
3) REGISTRATION FEES AND DISTANCES
Short race non-members of Club Super Marathon Italia 15,00 € – all 10: 120,00 €
Gran Fondo B non-members 20,00 € – all 10: 150,00 €
Gran Fondo C non-members 40,00 € – all 10: 350,00 €
Ultramarathon non-members 45,00 € – all 10: 400,00 €
Members of Club Super Marathon Italia will have a 5€ discount on any single race.

5) VENUE OF THE RACE
The races will start and finish every day at 8:00 am in Piazza Europa at Lido di Gozzano (NO).
6) ROUTE AND REFRESHMENT STATIONS
The route is approx. 10.5, to be covered several times depending on the chosen distance, traced on roads that lead from Lido di Gozzano to Ronco Pella and back, along the shores of the lake.
There are 3 refreshments along the route: at 5 – 10,5 and 21 km (start and finish line)
Runners registered in the 10 km races will turn back at the 5th-km refreshment;
All the other runners will turn back at the 2nd refreshment station, at 10.5 km.
Runners registered for the 42 km race will have to complete 2 laps, finding again the same refreshments on the route, for a total of 8 refreshment stations.
There are many water fountains along the route.
The route is 80% asphalt and 20% dirt road and single track.
7) START
the start for al the distances will take place at the same time (8:00 am)
8) MEETING AND BIB COLLECTION
All distances – Meeting every morning from August 5th to August 14th from 7.00 am at Piazza Europa Lido di Gozzano (NO) where you can collect your bibs, safety pins and microchip.
9) BREEFING
At the start line at approx. 7:45 am every day
START FOR ALL THE RACES: 08.00 AM
10) SERVICES DURING THE RACE
Tent at the start/finish to drop your bags (no surveillance, do not leave any valuables). Personal refreshments may be left only in this area.

11) PRIZES
All the finishers of the 10 in 10 races on all the distance will receive a composable medal in a frame, a small trophy and athe T-shirt of the event.
The finishers of the single races will receive a medal.
12) ACCOMMODATION:
Free accommodation is provided at the gym Via Monterosa 6, Gozzano (max. 50 people, NO SLEEPING GEAR PROVIDED).
